מומלץ להתקין את ה-eSIM לפני הנסיעה ולהפעיל את הנתונים לאחר ההגעה ליעד. תקופת התוקף מתחילה בדרך כלל כשה-eSIM מתחברת לרשת המקומית.

For most short-term travel, yes. eSIM avoids airport SIM queues, lets you install before flying, and you keep your home physical SIM for voice/SMS. For most providers the validity countdown starts the first time the eSIM connects to a local network in the destination — not at purchase. So you can buy days or weeks ahead without burning validity time.

Yes — eSIMs that never installed or never activated can be refunded. Once you activate and consume data, partial refunds depend on the provider policy. Always check the refund terms before purchase.
